Figure Flattering Swimwear

Rather than detesting the body that you were born with and praying that you could just transform into a goddess with a body to match, you can just try to work with what you already and accentuate your better features as you downplay the features that are not-so-great using these swimwear tips.

Tops

For tops, you could never go wrong with halter tops. Halter tops are flattering for all kinds of body shapes, as they could provide wonderful support or just a little lift. For those with fuller and larger cup sizes, you could try halters designed with a wide band on the bottom. Triangle halter tops would work best for women with smaller cup sizes. If you have a larger cup size but still want to sport a triangle halter top, then you could try to look for one that has an underwire. This is because the underwires could provide support needed by your breast so that would not fall out on the bottom portion of the swimsuit. A bra-style top with an underwire would be great for those women who have larger cup sizes and narrow shoulders. If you plan to wear a tankini, it would be best to opt for a longer top with v-neck line.

Bottoms

For bottoms, it would be advisable to go for bottoms that could be tied on the sides. Whether the ties are chunky or stringy, they would be great as you would be able to easily adjust the strings so that they would not be cutting into your sides. Bottoms that are Brazilian-cut would be good in making your behind look smaller, but keep in mind that these kinds of bottom could ride up rather easily. If you are looking into getting boy shorts to cover up something, they might just accentuate whatever you are trying to conceal. Probably a better alternative would be a skirted bottom, as they could offer a better cover-up than boy shorts.

Preemie Baby Clothes - Wonderful Ideas to Buy Cute Infant Garments

Mothers are excited about shopping for their new babies. They try to pick everything that they feel would make their babies look even more beautiful than they actually do. There are many things to keep in mind while you are on a shopping spree for your little baby. Baby garments are available under many well known brands nowadays, but this does not mean that all baby clothes are worth picking for your baby. Preemie baby clothes are available in various materials, sizes, styles and colors.

In order to make sure that you buy the best for your little one, here are some points for you to keep in mind while shopping:

The material with which baby clothes are made should be 100% pure and organic cotton. Even the colors used in the fabric should be organic and non-toxic. Inorganic materials cause skin and even respiratory allergies which may cause long run health problems for the baby. Your first priority should be your baby's comfort and health rather than the style and the look. Most mothers ignore the comfort level and prefer buying clothes that they think would look cute and beautiful. Make sure that the baby dresses you buy help your baby feel comfortable. This can be checked through the placement of buttons and zippers. For instance, if the buttons are located at the back, baby is likely to feel uneasy on the back. Thus, be sure of baby's comfort and do not buy such dresses. Your convenience is also essential; therefore, choose the baby dress which is easy to take off and put on. Tight neck lines would trouble you and even the placement of buttons at odd positions would cause you problems, so check these beforehand.

Some mothers do not have any clue what kinds of infant garments to buy. Here are some ideas listed below to help you out in a situation like that:

First of all, decide the color that will suit your baby. It is easy to pick a suitable color based on the gender of the baby. For boys, colors like blue, yellow and white are the best while for girls pink, red and purple are more appropriate. Clothes like jumpers can be picked for day wear whereas loose pajamas and shirts will be ideal for night wear. During the winters, woolen pajamas and during the summers cotton pajamas should be preferred.

Swimwear - New Swimsuits Trends for Plus Size Women

Thanks to the revolution of the internet now real women can buy swimsuits online and try them on at their own home, at their own pace instead of facing queuing up for public fitting room in a crowded store.

Ruching is a popular trend this season for clothing including women's swimwear. Swimsuit design with ruching is an excellent choice for real women as it will make them look fashionable whilst giving them comfort and perfectly hiding bulges. The swimsuits can have ruching under arms or under bust as well as on both sides of the suit.

The key swimwear design for this season is about beach culture. The prints and colour trends are from tropical floral gardens to exotic destinations. The colour pallette works around blues, turquoise, crimson, pink, lime and black. Metallic trim around the prints is also a key trend. Popular cuts include twisted bandeau, ruched ribbons or key holes.

Style trends:

One Piece Swimwear:

Many plus size women especially whose body is hour glass shape prefer this style as it show off their curves. Look for plus size swimsuits with adequate support, built-in bra and if you have a nice bust, you should choose swimwear with plunging neckline and key holes which will accentuate your curve.

Swimdresses:

It is more modest than other types of swimwear; women in plus sizes will look stylish and flattering in swimdresses; they provide extra coverage over tummy, hip and thigh areas. These areas are problems for many large size women and the one piece swimsuit style is excellent for covering them. Ruched swimdress is definitely a popular trend for plus sizes.

Two Piece swimsuits:

Tankinis:

Some women do not like one piece swimsuits as they are sometime difficult to put on or take off. Tankinis are two-piece separate swimwear usually includes a sleeveless top and a pair of swim pants. The trend for this season is deep V neck or twisted bandeau. As a plus size, you should choose the swim top which is long enough to cover your tummy and the swim pants with medium leg cut.

Skirtinis:

They are two-piece swimwear, like tankinis, but instead of having regular swimming pants for bottom; skirtinis have short length skirts with attached panties. Full figured women who like looking young and flattering would love skirtinis. The swimsuits provide comfort and they will boost your confidence as you will have more coverage on your tummy and thighs. As a plus size woman, you will look great in skirtinis because they will accentuate your curves whilst camouflage flaws.

Skirtini swimsuits have become more and more popular for plus size women and the trend for this style's top is twisted bandeau or sweetheart V neck with empire waist or ruching under bust.

After a long cold winter, working hard for your family; it is the time for you to enjoy outdoor, imagine you are at your girl friends pool parties or on a Hawaiian beach wearing your beautiful swimsuit with pride! Updating your swimwear wardrobe is the most deserved thing you should do for yourself this summer.

Look Great in Your Bikini - Swimwear Tips For Every Body Type

The official start of Spring typically also marks the beginning of the beach wear season as well. Between Spring Breaks, Memorial Day and the anticipation of summer vacation and weekends spent at the beach - women across the country begin the search for the perfect bikinis! We believe that no matter what your size or body type, there is a bikini out there for you!

Doughy midsection: The not so quite flat stomach is public enemy #1 for women. Millions are spent on diet aids, ab-rollers and work out videos promising to whittle inches of fat off your tummy in 30 days or less. They are usually an epic fail, but that doesn't stop us from trying! If your stomach is still an issue for you, we advise going with a tankini style suit. They provide the torso coverage of a one piece, but the trend and style of a two piece with it's classic bikini bottom. The great thing about the tankini is that although you're getting full coverage in the top, you can mix and match the bottoms to various styles.

Thicker Thighs/Full Bottom: The best option for hiding flabby thighs is suits with built in skirts. Depending on the amount of coverage you desire, you can find suits with "mini" skirts (i.e. the skirt hem will fall just near the buttocks line) or suits with longer skirts. You can also opt for a detachable covering such as a sarong or wrap. This won't help you much once you're in the water though.

Small Chest:   Bandeau tops, triangle shaped tops and ruffled bikinis are ideal for women with a smaller bust.  Bright and neon colors also flatter the smaller chest as well. Fit will be very important for you - and you'll want to avoid one pieces or suits with too much fabric.

Bigger Chest: Who says bigger is always better? When it comes to finding the perfect bikini, larger breasts can be public enemy #2! Bigger breasts are, of course - heavier. The heavier they are, the more support they will require. Look for bikini tops that feature a wide strap or underwire for support. Halter top styles are also a great way to control the support you'll need.

No Waist/Boy Shaped: The first thing you'll want to do is avoid solid colors and one piece suits. This will make you look square and boxy. Bikini's with embellishments or texture on the bottom are great. Look for suits with ruffled bottoms or bottoms with belted/banded waist lines.  Adding this extra fabric at the hip will give the illusion of a curve in the waist.

Plus Size Shape:   Solid colors and one piece suits are going to work best for you. Muted colors and dark colors are most ideal. V-Necklines are great, primarily when then top is a halter style that types at the neck. Look for suits with adjustable lengths/ruching at the hip. Depending on your size and comfort levels - you may want to wear a two piece. If this is the case, follow the tips given for thicker thighs/full bottoms and larger chest ladies.

Choosing Swimwear For Your Body Shape

All women want to look fabulous on the beaches this summer. Even if your not jetting of for a beach holiday there is bound to be a swimming pool at the hotel. The secret to looking good in swimwear is not about choosing the latest 'must have' fashionable bikini or swimsuit. It is about choosing the right swimwear to maximise your good points and minimise your bad points. Yes everyone has bad points even supermodels!

We've split body shapes into six categories to give you our recommendations for each body shape...

If you have a small bust

If you are small on top then definitely look for bikinis that are underwired and for a little extra help look for padded bikinis. Bandeau bikinis really suit you and only you can really wear small triangle bikinis that cause a sensation on the beach..

If you have a big bust

If you are large on top then you need to ensure your breasts are adequately supported and halterneck bikini tops are the perfect answer. If possible look for styles that are banded around base and tie up at the top for some lift and get a perfect fit. To draw attention away from your large chest look for detailing on your lower half or combine with a small beach skirt, sarong or wrap.

If you have small hips

Look for bikini briefs that have a high cut leg or opt for a hipster styled brief to create a curvier silhouette. Some nice detailing on the brief, such as a contrasting belt will work wonders for your figure. Choose bright colours and avoid solid block colours, especially black as this will have a slimming effect and make you look even more boyish.

If you have large hips

If you have large hips then the secret is to draw the eye towards other areas of the body. One of the best techniques is to have a contrasting top. For ultimate effect choose a plain dark bikini bottom with a bright and vibrant bikini top. Or look for a swimsuit that has the detailing around the bust rather than the waist

If you have a long body

Hipsters work best for your hips as high cut briefs can make your long legs look even longer. And ruffled skirts and sarongs are made just for you! Go for low neck lines rather than high ones as these will lengthen your body even more.

If you have a large tummy

Then a control one piece swimsuit or control tankini is your best option. These have a much nigher spandex content than normal swimwear which will hold your tummy in on the beach. The aim here is to draw the eyes away from your middle so go for subtle detailing on both the top and the bottom of the swimsuit leaving the centre as plain as possible.
