How to Choose the Right Tummy Control Tankini, Fashionable Enough For the Beach

The tankini is a classic swimsuit that will never go out of style. In general, there are four types of tankini swimming suits with tummy control. Familiarizing yourself with each one will allow you to choose the one that will most adequately flatter your figure.

The first type of tankini is the halter tankini. This particular tankini is ideal for highlighting the shoulder, collarbone, and the cleavage. Because it enhances these features, the halter tankini draws the viewer's eye upwards away from a trouble midsection or lower regions of the body. This style of tankini is suitable for women of all sizes, however, as it draws attention to your chest, you may not want to wear this if you are higher than a DD cup size...unless you love to flaunt what your mama gave you.

The second tankini, the apron tankini, is considered more daring than the traditional tankini. The top of this tankini is banded, and it drapes to cover the midsection in an apron like manner. A woman's back is left uncovered, and the tankini generally has string tie top along the neck and the back. SPANX are a popular choice when it comes to bandeau/apron tummy control tankinis, as they still manage to have excellent shaping and slimming effects. The apron tankini is characterized by prints, laces, sleek fabrics, and summer colors. The bottom of the tankini may consist of boy shorts or a brief style bottom.

The third style is the underwire model tankini. It is one of the most popular forms of the tankini, because it offers more than adequate support for a woman's body and is perfect for those who are large busted. While this tankini flatters the midsection and enhances the breasts, it is no longer considered unfashionable and drab as it once was. This traditional style tankini has had a complete makeover by many top swimwear brands, with the styles now funky, stylish and even sexy. Because most tankinis are sold as mix and match pieces, a woman will be able to purchase several and create a fresh new look each time she steps out to the beach or the local pool.

The fourth and final style of the tankini is the boy short tankini. This style generally has a shorter top than a traditional spaghetti strap tankini; however, it is quite popular for the boy shorts bottoms. These bottoms can cover a woman's buttocks, hips, and upper thighs. As with the underwire model of tankinis, the boy short tankini can be mixed and matched with other pieces to create numerous looks. It is important to ensure that this tankini fits properly so that it does not create unsightly bulges of fat around the midsection

With all of these great tummy control tankinis available, you can finally feel free, comfortable and stylish at the beach or just next to your pool. So visit our store and shop for the perfect tankini swimming suits for your body. It's time to get excited for for the summer.

Swimsuit Cover Ups - Look Your Best at the Pool or Beach

Swimming at the pool or beach is a great way to relax. But you also want to look your best whether swimming, sun bathing, or walking to your room. You want a great looking swim suit, but don't forget a great looking cover up. There are many different types of swimsuit cover ups. So no matter what your body type, you can always look good.

Oversized shirt - You can choose either opaque material or sheer material in many different colors.

Sarong - Cover only the bottom part of your body with a short or long sarong. They come in many different colors, and some even come with beading detail.

Dress - Choose either sleeveless or one with sleeves in cotton fabric. Either a solid fabric or a tropical flower print works well.

Skirt - Short, flirty skirts are very fashionable.

Shorts - A great, practical way to cover up.

Robe - A terry cloth robe is very comfy and always practical. The shorter variety works best on the beach or at the pool.

T-shirt - An oversized t-shirt always works as a last minute option. They are also usually the least expensive type of cover up.

Choose one of the options above, and you'll be ready for a great time at the beach or pool.

Different Ways to Tie a Scarf

Wear your scarf with style by using it as a headband, bandana or head wrap, ponytail wrap, belt, bandeau, fancy halter top, one-shoulder top, skirt, shawl, and as an accessory to your bags or hats.

A scarf is a known accessory because of its versatility to fix and add style to any ordinary outfit to make it more fun, classy and elegant. It can be considered as a multipurpose cloth because it can be worn and tied in several ways.

Below are various ways of tying your scarf:

Headband

Replace the usual headband with a colorful scarf. Just fold the scarf lengthwise into a long strip of fabric. Wrap it on top of your head and tie the ends at the back of the nape.

Bandana or head wrap

You can always use your scarf to cover your head from sunlight or pollution whenever you're traveling or staying outdoors for quite some time. Use your scarf as a bandana or head wrap. Just fold your scarf into a triangle. Wear it on your head and tie at the back of your nape. Or you just simply cover the whole scarf on your head. Cross its ends below your chin and secure them by tying the ends at the back of your head.

Ponytail wrap

Make it a fun and colorful hair accessory. Instead of the usual band, use it to secure your ponytail. If you want to add more style to it, knot it around your ponytail for a few times and spread it out.

Belt

It can also be a fun alternative to a belt. Its colors and soft material make pants or lower garments livelier. Just insert it through your belt loops or you simply wrap it around your waist, and your outfits complete.

Bandeau

Transform it into a bikini topper or bandeau. Just fold it twice until it looks like a long sash. Just wrap it around your torso into the front. Secure it by tying the ends into a big bow.

Fancy halter top

It can also make for a great halter-style top. Fold a big square scarf into a triangle. Tie a knot in the middle of the folded scarf. Place the knot at the base of your nape and circle the scarf's end around your neck and secure it. This serves as the halter of the top. Finish it off by wrapping the triangle base just around your waist and tie it at your back.

One-shoulder top

This is great for poolside parties and the beach. You'll just need a bigger one. Bring the ends of one corner of the scarf over one of your shoulders and tie it into a knot. Bring their other two ends together and secure them at either the back of your torso or at the side of your waist.

Skirt

Make a fascinating skirt out of it by tying two scarves at each side of your hip. Use this over a bathing suit or sleeveless top on the beach or at the pool.

Shawl

Embellish a simple gown or formal attire with it. Use a big scarf and fold it into a triangle. Drape the long part of the scarf over your shoulders. Take the ends to the center and you can either tie them into a knot or not. And there you have it, an instant shawl.

Accessory

As it makes most outfits shine by adding colors to the necklines, scarves can also be used as an accessory for bags and hats. Just tie them around your bags' handles. You can also add some style to your hat by wrapping a scarf around it.

There are still plenty of ways on how to wear your scarves in your own style. Discover more ideas on how to use them by experimenting. Sooner or later, you'll be walking with a new 'scarf fashion' of your own.

Holiday Tips - Find the Perfect Bikini For Your Body Shape

Finding the right bikini can be stressful and slightly depressing, but it doesn't have to be. Armed with these tips, make the most of your assets and minimise your problem areas for your most confident holiday yet. When buying a bikini, forget trends! What is really important is that you feel comfortable and sexy. The right bathing suit will not turn you into a model, but it should leave you feeling attractive, supported and draw attention to all your best assets. Remember: confidence is consistently voted as one of the sexiest traits.

Make sure you're have your body type sussed before you head to the shops. To figure out what type you are, take a long look in a full-length mirror (don't try this in the changing rooms - they have possibly the most unflattering lighting known to man!). Armed with this knowledge, you are ready to shop!

Apple Shape
Apple shapes tend to carry weight on their tummy. If this is your problem area, minimise it by putting more attention up-top. Choose a padded, supportive bikini top or tankini to balance out your shape. This year, there are tonnes of fantastic one-pieces around, which will give fantastic support to your tummy-area. In any case, avoid fussy patterns and choose bright, bold but simple prints.

DO: Go for high-rise briefs or tankini tops DON'T: Choose too-tight briefs and let everything hang out

Pear-Shaped
If you're pear-shaped, your bum and hips are probably your problem area. You are likely to have a small upper body and a bigger lower body, so you want to draw the eye upwards. A great trick is to team darker bottoms with a paler colour on top, or team a patterned top with plain bottoms. Make sure that the bottoms sit well on your hips and are a good fit.

DO: Choose a printed top or light colours on top DON'T: Choose boy shorts - all the extra material will actually make you look bigger.

Big Bust
It is very important to get a properly-fitted bikini top if you have a big bust - there's nothing worse than bouncing all over the beach and it can actually be painful! Tops with wider straps give good support and don't dig into the shoulders. If you're not afraid to flaunt what you've got, choose a top with a plunge, bright print or frills. To play it down, detailed bottoms with tie sides, belts or embellishment take some of the attention from your top half. Balance the bikini so you don't look top heavy - bandeau tops are not usually very flattering for this reason.

DO: Get a properly fitted underwire tops DON'T: Spill out of tops or bounce everywhere without underwires!

Small Bust
You're one of the lucky ones who can wear those tiny, gorgeous triangle tops! If you're not a fan of those, padded bandeau tops are also very flattering. Ruches and ruffles give the illusion of a biggest bust and a little padding never hurts. Avoid dark colours or big brief on the bottom - you want to keep all the attention up top!

DO: Choose padded cups for a bit of oomph DON'T: Wear big bottoms - you want the attention up top!

Sporty or Muscular Shape
If you're sporty, play up your femininity! If you have broad shoulders, halternecks and high-cut briefs are very flattering. Plunging tops and tie fronts can give a very flattering shape and floral, spotty or animal prints are girly and very trendy right now. Don't be tempted by overly sporty and practical styles - they are too masculine for your shape.

DO: Make yourself look feminine. DON'T: Pick functional, sporty styles.

Long Body
Those with long bodies want to make themselves look more balanced. This can be achieved by playing with patterns and colour. Horizontal stripes are a great way to make your bust and hips look wider and more curvy and play down the length of your body. Bandeau tops and padded bra tops are also a good idea. The bolder the pattern, the more attention you bring to your most important parts - your curves!

DO: Enhance your curves with fun prints DON'T: Make yourself look like a telegaph pole wearing vertical stripes!

Petite
Petite shapes have a lot of choice, but you may be sensitive about short legs. If so, try high-cut briefs and emphasise your bust with triangle or plunge-front shapes. Remember that tie-sides also help to maximise leg length, whereas big bottoms will make your legs look shorter.

DO: Focus on your cleavage. DON'T: Make your legs look shorter with big pants

Underwire Swimwear Reviews For This Season

Women today have several many good options available to them to enhance their upper body in a swim suit, especially with underwire swimwear. About the time of year when the first seventy degree day rolls around women everywhere starting thinking about their tan, and how they are going to look in a bikini. Usually they start rolling out their favorite fad diet, and begin hitting the gym, in hopes of having their body in bikini shape for Spring break. Whether you are a large breasted woman or small, there is a type of underwire swimwear that can help you maximize the body you currently have. For larger women the underwire will give you the needed support you need and keep you from falling out of your suit. For smaller women you can gain some added lift and volume with the underwire design to maximize what you already have. We want to take a look at this special swimwear, and offer recommendations on a few models that we particularly like.

The very first option to consider is the one piece swimsuit made by Miracle Swimsuit. This fashionable one piece offers a woman a discreet way to show offer her body around the pool while still offering attractive edges. Miracle offers features here such as main body material using nylon and spandex, with a nylon interior lining. It is designed as a body shaper as well but does this without using bulky girdles or liners. It also provides underwire support for women of all sizes, and it has nonremovable cups that provide all day comfort. The deep v-neckline is quite attractive and the crossover look is very fashionable as well. This one piece swimsuit is imported and should be hand washed for best results. Pricing ranges widely on this model as it can be purchased from seventy five to one hundred and fifty dollars.

For a more trendy look we recommend the Freya Bandeau tankini underwire swimwear. The tankini is a creative blend of a tank top and a bikini top and it provides concealment of your midsection. The flowing fabric is like the lower part of a tank top attached to the bra part of the swimsuit. There are different lengths available depending upon how much you want to conceal. The material is made of stretch nylon is quite durable. The top features a seamed cups with underwire support for large breasted women, and volume for more moderate breast. The back side enclosure is sliding type of adjustment and is quite comfortable. This tankini underwire is more moderately priced from seventy five to one hundred dollars, and several online retailers offer it.

Fore the more revealing and fashionable types we recommend the Calvin Klein underwire bikini swimsuit. This is a more traditional bikini but it also offers women the advantages of an underwire bra. This bikini can flat out make you look sophisticated and gorgeous all at the same time. It comes in a variety of innovative fabrics, with several prints and solid colors. This is a high quality product that is reasonably priced for what you really get at about one hundred dollars. It is constructed from mostly nylon with the remainder a shape fitting spandex material. CK recommends that you machine or hand wash in cold water, flatten it out to dry, and never dry clean.

If you are shopping for better support in your swimwear this season you need to consider purchasing underwire swimwear [http://underwireswimwear.org].

Swimsuit Models

Swimsuit modeling is a very competitive field and the number of top models herein increase and decrease on daily basis. Once you decide to be a swimsuit model, the first job is to do a lot of research in order to find the right agency for your promotion. The city of New York is known as one of the major cities for modeling opportunities. Hard work, attraction, connections and luck - all play a part in deciding where you end up in this profession. No matter where you are based, if you sign with a big and popular agency that's based in New York as most of them are, there is a fairly good chance that you'll end up well. But it is important to know that there is always a demand for models in minor markets such as Chicago, Philadelphia and Phoenix.

Swim suit modeling very necessarily demands a good body. Being a swimsuit model might seem easy but coming back to reality, modeling is just another job at the end of the day. It's hard to make a good living and even harder to sustain it for more than a few years. Only a very few make it into the upper echelons of the profession. The supermodels that we are so used to seeing around must have initially had to take on secondary jobs just to make their ends meet. Many models end up doing this job only for a few years as it is pressurizing to live on a daily diet of rejection and keep up to look a particular way. Such pressures can take a severe psychological toll and may even be a risk to life.

It is usually the young models with training and experience that are most wanted as swimsuit models. There are various training schools out there that teach ramp walk, picture posing and hone your present skills as young models. It will also help you when you audition for a modeling agency. Having a models portfolio and gaining some basic instruction is important if you are considering taking up modeling as a full-time career. It is a swimsuit models duty to select swimsuit-modeling agents, who are correct for them. You can mail your picture and resume to all of the modeling agencies in your area. Every major city has well-established modeling agencies so you must get in touch with a few to get their opinions. Some of the best lingerie models modeling agencies look for bikini models but they may vary according to their requirements and choices. Picking an agent for swimsuit models that is well known and established is important.
